Eligibility

APTUS is inclusive and open to anyone who currently lives in Scotland. Apprentices from all backgrounds can apply to tap into a future career in energy and become part of an industry that's big on innovation and ambition.

You should be at least 16 (before May of the year applying) but there is no upper age limit.

Applicants must live in Scotland and have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the programme.

To apply, you must also have the following grades or equivalent depending on where you live:

SCOTLAND QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory:

- Four National 5, grades A-C or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language

Desirable:

- Physics, Chemistry or Engineering Science

- One other subject

ENGLAND, WALES and NORTHERN IRELAND QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory:

- Four GCSE (or equivalent) grades A or B in Mathematics and English Language

Desirable:

- Double Science or Physics, Chemistry or another appropriate technological subject

- One other subject
